KDNCE is built with a privacy-first architecture. Your health and fitness data belongs to you, stays on your device, and is never shared with anyone.

All your data stays on your device. KDNCE has no servers, no cloud storage, and no third-party analytics. Your health data never leaves your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Data We Access

KDNCE reads the following health data through Apple HealthKit to provide personalized training recommendations:

  • Heart rate and resting heart rate
  • Heart rate variability (HRV)
  • VO2 max estimates
  • Sleep analysis
  • Running metrics (cadence, stride length, ground contact time, vertical oscillation)
  • Running power
  • Workout history and active energy

How We Use Your Data

Your health data is used solely to personalize your training experience within the app. This includes:

  • Calculating your VDOT and race predictions
  • Generating and adapting training plans to your fitness level
  • Providing real-time pace and stamina coaching during workouts
  • Computing your energy score
  • Monitoring training load and recovery status
  • Displaying running dynamics and performance trends

Data Storage

All data processing happens entirely on your device. KDNCE does not operate any servers or cloud infrastructure. Your data is stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple HealthKit and the app's local storage.

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. There is no account creation, no user tracking, and no telemetry.

Third-Party Sharing

KDNCE does not share your data with any third parties. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no data brokers involved. Period.

Your Control

You are in full control of your data at all times:

  • You can grant or revoke access to any health data category through the iOS Health app (Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > KDNCE)
  • You can delete all app data by uninstalling KDNCE from your device
  • You can review exactly what data KDNCE accesses through the iOS Health permissions screen

Children's Privacy

KDNCE is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Since KDNCE has no user accounts, we cannot notify you directly — please review this page periodically.
